Description
This filter is so new and advanced that a patent is pending. Two fiberglass tanks are incorporated in the system. The first tank provides aeration which precipitates the iron into a particle large enough to filter out. Second tank contains a filter media that captures and holds the iron until an occasional backwashing occurs. One control valve cleans the second tank and replenishes the air in the first tank. The O3E Filters are equipped with an electronic control. Performance is superior to other iron filters for the following reasons:
1. A huge volume of air is available for oxidation. This means infrequent replenishment and backwashing. This saves water and accounts for complete precipitation of iron.
2. No chemical regeneration is required.
3. No noisy air compressor. (They are expensive to replace.)
4. No air release valves. (They plug.)
5. No inline venture. (They put 30 psi back pressure on the pump.)
6. Less maintenance. The only maintenance required is the infrequent replenishment of media if the raw water pH id below 7. An easy to use fill port is provided.
7. Extremely powerful control valve means it can handle very high iron levels.
