UN Series filters provide an economical method to elevate the pH of acidic water; raising the pH of water above 7 stops the corrosion of metal pipe, fittings, and plumbing fixtures. How high the pH is increased depends on the raw water pH; the contact time of the water with the filter media; and the filter media chosen.
